The action of creating Mandalas within buddhist practices aims to highlight the transitory nature and impermanence of life as Mandalas are meticulously drawn into the sand but destroyed soon after completion. Inspired by the meditative process, my collection reflects on traditional Chinese mandalas and patterns found throughout buddhist history and aims to highlight the vibrant yet constantly shifting moments of live.
