Woven on the 12 harness Macomber loom, this weaving sample takes inspiration from the iridescent and optical qualities from the scales of a butterfly wing. Each butterfly scale replica piece is laser cut from organza and gossamer fabric and carefully woven into the fabric. The fabric measures 18 in X 50 in, there are two colorways.
